Adults and Kids Mentoring Sessions

We have a new program of dates available for 2025. The sessions will be run by club members for club members and will give adults and kids alike time to get on the water and receive some pointers of how to improve from experienced sailors all with safety cover for peace of mind.

They are not coaching sessions and parents will be responsible for their children throughout the sessions and are expected to stay on site to offer assistance with launching and recovering and drinks/snacks. Adults it will be up to you to decided if you want to sail or not depending on your ability and confidence. We want this to be an inclusive environment where everybody feels like they can have time on the water in a non competitive atmosphere and make the most of what the club and the members can offer.

We are hoping to have some of our more experienced instructors along for some of the dates to be able to help out as well.

All of the sessions will be on Sunday mornings. This will allow time on the water in the morning to build confidence, work out skills and improve your sailing and will give you the opportunity to get more involved in the Sunday afternoon club races over the summer if you want to.

Onsite for 10am intending to be on the water around 10:30. Sessions will end around noon to allow time for a spot of lunch before joining in the races if you fancy.
