February and March work parties

18th February, 10.30 am to 3.00 pm

At February's work party we will be working through the list of tasks (to be shared nearer the tine) and there will be guidance on the day if you've not been along to help before.

In addition, our Secretary Matt Thomas will be leading tours of the site for new members in order to walk you through how to open up and close down the club and to show you where all the key equipment is located and discuss what to do if you'd like to use club boats. He'll be available on site all day but the tours themselves will begin at 11am and 2pm. Current members who would like a reminder of how to do all of these things are also very welcome to attend. There's no need to book, just turn up on the day.

18th March, 10.30 am to 3.00 pm

Again, we'll be continuing to work through the identified tasks and it's likely our attention will turn to mark laying, so we'll need people available to go out on the water.

Our Treasurer Anna Doeser is leading on organising a boat jumble for the March event. This is an opportunity for you to find a new home for your old kit. Sell your items at our boat jumble or donate to the club and allow us to re-home it and raise funds for the club. All types of items accepted: sailing and water sport clothing and accessories, canoes, SUPs, spare parts, etc. We will send more details on this in a dedicated mailing nearer the time but please get the date in your diary.
